Dear, I thought I'd drop a line,
The weather's cool, the folks are fine,
I'm in bed each night at nine.
P.S. I love you.

That was from an old song, sang by Bette Midler. It's one of my favourite song, her soothing voice and the simple but meaningful lyrics are just so lovely.
If you ever fall in love, why don't you try writing love letters :)
It'll give you this nice warm feeling inside, both for the writer and the reader. i know it sounds corny and not to mention old fashion, and no one does it anymore what with all the technologies available these days. but you see, almost everyone can type down a message, it'll just take you what, 30 seconds to do so? but for one to sit down, and pour your feelings into a piece of paper, it just takes a lot more effort then you think it would, and not everyone has the patience to do it. and even if you typed down in an SMS the exact same things that you write in a letter, the feeling of reading it is just so different. it's a mixture of all kinds of emotions. the anticipation of waiting for your letter to arrive, the joy of seeing the postman finally arriving to your house, the relief that you have to wait no longer, the feeling of the envelope between your hands, the curiosity of what lies in it, what sweet words has it got to sing to you, the secret it contains for your eyes only, the familiar hand writing painted with love, and the fact that the last person to touch it was your love, just makes you feel closer somehow. oh so close. it doesnt have to be long. what matters is that the words that you write down are straight from your heart, and that you mean it. enough said :)
Nothing else to tell you dear,
Except, each day feels like a year,
Every night I'm dreaming of you,
P.S. I love you.
Except, each day feels like a year,
Every night I'm dreaming of you,
P.S. I love you.
